Lectures/Workshops

Free Haven Farms can deliver a presentation or workshop for your group/class/company. Our presentations can take place either virtually or in-person. We deliver engaging lectures that are educational, informative, and based on successful methods. We have programs available for all groups and classroom types,  from pre-k classrooms to corporate board rooms. 

We offer programs on topics including but not limited to:

• Agriculture/Growing Food
• Urban Agriculture
• Soil Science
• Earth Sciences
• Cultural Significance of Agriculture
• Capoeira (African-Brazilian martial art) movement and music
• Yoga practice and philosophy

Choose from several options below. We offer:

• One standard class period (45-55 minutes)
• One longer class period (1 hour 15 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes)
• Two successive classroom visits 
• 4-6 week workshop (4-6 visits/ 1 visit per week)
